The Lomselea Tree is an Official GemStone IV Document, and it is protected from editing.
The Lomselea Tree
The lomselea tree is the result of the cooperation between adventurers and the wood sprites of Isle of the Four Winds.
After the most recent The Long Sleep, a tiny, spindly seedling sprouted in the wood sprite glade. During their time in slumber the sprites dreamed of a new tree that would unite them all. With the help of visitors to their home, the sprites were able to strengthen the seedling by bonding the branches and energy of many trees to it. This allowed it to grow into a new species of tree they called lomselea, which roughly means Tree of Unity or Tree of Many in their language.
This effort allows the tree to grow substantially and reach its full potential and size in a short amount of time.
There is only one known lomselea tree currently. It grows in the magical glade of the wood sprites on Isle of the Four Winds. Wood from this tree is extremely rare with only a few pieces having been given as gifts and even fewer for artisan work.
A Towering Lomselea Tree
Shadowing the ground below, the towering tree's canopy spreads out over the clearing. The wide-spread roots stretch out across the area with each tendril visible just under the soil. Shimmering silver bark forms a protective layer with a pale grey heartwood showing through slight fissures. Golden veins outline each leaf while the surface is sheened in hues of orange, crimson, and greens. Star-shaped flowers in a variety of colorful shades cover the out-stretched branches.
