Health potions can be made by alchemists through the General Alchemy subskill of Alchemy.

Each completed formula will yield a four-dose potion.[1]

The potions have a level requirement and have a recovery period before one can be used again. The level requirement is dependent on the strength of the health potion.

Alchemy Formulas

Minor health potion

A minor health potion can be created by any alchemist with four ranks of General Alchemy.

This potion will restore 20 hit points.

A minor health potion
  1. Add water
  2. Add 3 doses of ground cuctucae berry
  3. Add ayanad crystal
  4. Simmer
  5. Seal

Lesser health potion

A lesser health potion can be created by any alchemist with 22 ranks of General Alchemy. This formula no longer works for repetitions after rank 38.

This potion will restore 50 hit points.

A lesser health potion
  1. Add water
  2. Add 3 doses of ground marallis berry
  3. Add s'ayanad crystal
  4. Boil
  5. Add small troll tooth
  6. Seal

Full health potion

A full health potion can be created by any empath with 58 ranks in General Alchemy. This formula will work for repetitions for the remainder of the alchemist's training.

This potion will restore all of your hit points. This item may not be used by adventurers who have not trained 60 times.

  4. Boil
  5. Chant the Heal (1101) spell
  6. Add essence of body
