De-fusion

De-fusion is a high-end merchant service that removes the fusion script from a weapon, armor, or shield, leaving everything else intact. It will then permanently have whatever fusion orbs were slotted into the item as regular enhancive properties; the enhancive properties of the orbs in the item at the time of the service will become permanent. Items that have undergone de-fusioning can be recharged like a normal enhancive item. The main benefit is that the item is now an unscripted item, so it would be eligible for many services normally barred to fusion items.

This service has been made available at several events, including via automated certificate at The Annex shop at Duskruin.

You analyze the de-fusion tablet and sense that the creator has provided the following information:


 This Unlock Certificate applies an improvement or service as described below.  It may not be changed in any way.
 Unless otherwise stated, it may be used at any time and does not expire.  Additional usage may apply.

 When applicable, items attuned to someone else are ineligible.

 Usage:  APPRAISE       Check eligibility
         REDEEM         Apply the improvement


 A smooth de-fusion tablet grants the ability to de-fusion an eligible armament.
