Clockwerke Weapons are scripted weapons that debuted at the April 2026 run of Rumor Woods, in a shop called Uvaldov's Pinions and Cogs. They were created by GameMaster Marstreforn. Tier 1 (OTS) - ModularityAt tier 1 (as sold in the shop) these armaments have standard (Category B) flares that can be switched between Slash, Piercing, and Crush using TURN while out of combat. The weapon also adds a line to the end of its LOOK description: Tiny brass gears are arranged along the blade of the cleaver, each affixed near a vent aligned with its edge. Angled rods extend from each vent, and a spring-loaded dial is affixed to the cleaver's haft. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph. This line varies slightly based on the type of flare chosen with TURN.Analyze* Clockwerke Weapon * Available Actions * LISTEN * PULL * PUSH * TURN - selects weapon flare (puncture) Merchants that are skilled with this type of weapon may customize the following: * Parts: "blade" "edge" "haft" * Gears: "tiny brass" * Gizmo: "a spring-loaded dial" * Techs: "bladed pinions" "spiked cogs" "angled rods" Unlocks: ** Coiled Retrofit (WAVE - spike): NOT UNLOCKED - Maneuver ability that deals damage equivalent to a weapon flare if it hits. - Coiled Retrofit has a 60-second cooldown. *** Arcane Pneumatics (flares - air): NOT UNLOCKED - Chance for extra flares when you hit a target with an attack. - TINKER to toggle between air or steam. **** Ensigiled Cylinder (POINT - air): NOT UNLOCKED - Maneuver ability that deals damage equivalent to Arcane Pneumatics if it hits. - Target is Slowed if air is selected, or Vulnerable if steam is selected. - Ensigiled Cylinder has a 60-second cooldown. ***** Rune-Tuned Gears (SPIN): NOT UNLOCKED - Arcane Pneumatics gains a passive 25% chance to flare twice. - SPIN to apply Clockwerke Overdrive for 60 seconds. Clockwerke Overdrive - Arcane Pneumatics instead has a 100% chance to flare twice, if unlocked to this tier. - Arcane Pneumatics applies Clumsy if air is selected, or Wounded if steam is selected. - Clockwerke Overdrive has a 3 minute cooldown. Usage
Tier 2 - Coiled RetrofitAt Tier 2, the weapon gains an SMRv2 ability by using WAVE. Usage: WAVE <my> cleaver [AT {target}] This deals damage equal to a weapon flare and is based on the damage type selected with Modularity via TURN. Coiled Retrofit has a 60-second cooldown, and this will appear on the character's cooldown window in the Wrayth FE. A character is not able to use this ability again, even with another Clockwerke Weapon, until this cooldown expires.Tier 3 - Arcane PneumaticsAt Tier 3, the weapon gains offensive (Category D) flares when used to make an attack against the target. A runestaff will flare this way when a hostile spell is cast at the target. TINKER is used to select between Air and Steam damage types while out of combat.Tier 4 - Ensigiled CylinderAt Tier 4, the weapon gains an SMRv2 ability by using POINT. Usage: POINT <my> cleaver [AT {target}] This deals damage equal to Arcane Pneumatics and is based on the damage type selected via TINKER. Additionally, Ensigiled Cylinder applies a debuff if the target is hit, with Air applying the Slowed (2 seconds) condition and Steam applying the Vulnerable condition. Ensigiled Cylinder has a 60-second cooldown, and this will appear on the character's cooldown window in the Wrayth FE. A character is not able to use this ability again, even with another Clockwerke Weapon, until this cooldown expires.Tier 5 - Rune-Tuned GearsThis is the final tier that can be unlocked on a Clockwerke Weapon. Arcane Pneumatics gains a 25% chance to deal damage a second time when the weapon flares. SPIN applies the Clockwerke Overdrive buff to the wielder for 60 seconds. This ability has a 3 minute cooldown. The Clockwerke Overdrive buff increases the chance for Arcane Pneumatics to deal damage twice to 100% when the weapon flares. Additionally, Arcane Pneumatics applies a debuff if the target is still alive, with Air applying the Clumsy condition and Steam applying the Wounded condition.Additional InformationArcane Pneumatics ExampleObtained with the Tier 3 unlock.
