:Thank you :) I'm afraid not, or at least, nothing modern. There is very old lore on the "flows of essence", describing them as like rivers in a radiation field. There was a map of the (old) continent from 1989 that had "greater" and "lesser" flows on it. I would think you'd use those for pinning down your region, then using "local" or "minor" rivulets or nodes to specify a more precise spot. If the flows had stable branchings over time, it would make sense to call that a unique flow pattern. I'm always reluctant with "magical physics" because I'm never sure what is still true. (e.g. Familiars [[Kelfour Edition volume II number X|used to be]] extra-planar entities taking the form of small animals, and [http://www.play.net/dr/info/guilds/wm.asp still are] in DragonRealms, but is that still true?
