The AI Crystal, located in the Abandoned Inn public workshop, is a clear blue crystal set in dented brass, used to determine the magical properties of items. It is used by the character first holding the item to be divined in the left hand, then TOUCHing the crystal with his other. The resulting message is determined by the properties of the item.

Messaging

Tiny sparks of brilliant golden light dance across your [item]. -- Item is magical.

A golden scintillating light (exact messaging unknown) -- Item is imbeddable.

Shadow (exact messaging unknown) -- Item is cursed.

A [color] beam shoots up from your [item] toward the ceiling. -- Item has a bonus, determined by the color of the beam, as below:

Orange: +6-+10

Yellow: +11-+15

Green: +16-+20

Blue: +21-+25

Indigo: +26-+30
