Feeding a handful of woad leaves to your COMMON deer will make him/her an UNCOMMON mount, which will allow him/her access to more feature options with the Ostler and additional roleplaying verbs.
You will need to be sure to hold your strap in your hands when you do this.

Please Note: It does not allow your mount access to hunting travel, town travel, or new nouns.
