Yeah, I saw a note in talk that the pour lifekeep (in person) and other spells had been disable long ago.
(and thanks for that)

I have a really vague recall that a charm could be poured into a white flask to refill LifeKeep.

Does anyone else recall anything like this?

I don't recommend experimenting with this though, because I also recall destroying a charm with one of my characters.

I remember the same rumors. Seems like something to test on the test server!

You glance down to see a sky blue glaes spider charm in your right hand and a smoky amber flask in your left hand.

You trace your finger around the edge of your charm, which slowly changes color from pale yellow to white.
>pour charm in flask
You can't pour that.

The flask was empty, and is just a dyed white flask. WINTERDAWN (talk) 23:28, 6 September 2020 (CDT)

--- The other part of the recall is that their were rumored to be other spells that the charm could do, and that they were dependent upon the color of the spider. I think it was white that allowed the pour into a flask, or a body. I also wish my logs went back that far, but it took a while to figure out that each character you could bring up with the wizard had their own autolog flag, but that the setting for the last run character was the one used on opening. So, lots of logs didn't for a long time. CLUNK24963 08:47, 7 September 2020 (CDT)

I changed my above snippet to reflect me setting the spider to white. Anything else to try? WINTERDAWN (talk) 00:04, 8 September 2020 (CDT)

You could eat/drink/pour for about a month after the release and then that bug was fixed. It no longer works. These charms do not and never have cast spells. If you remember people appearing in a puff of smoke, that was just RAISE from hiding/invis. NAAMIT (talk) 07:09, 8 September 2020 (CDT)

I have moved the below player observation notes from the main item page to the talk page, as they are more appropriate here. The additional functionality for TURN has been added to that verb on the main item page. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 08:45, 27 July 2022 (CDT)

==Rumors from an Old Dwarf==
TURN - also turns the scripts on the charm on and off. If your charm acts like the verbs do not work, try "TURN CHARM".
POUR CHARM -
The colors of the charm sometimes enable special abilities. At least one dwarf found that the charm was capable of acting as a LIFEKEEP potion when a certain color. Unfortunately, that same dwarf destroyed his charm by trying to use that same LIFEKEEP potion to fill a White flask. Both blew up.

I made the charm white, made the spider white, and played around with it and a pawnshop bought white flask:

>glance
You glance down to see a bright white glaes spider charm in your right hand and a white flask in your left hand.

>look charm
The charm is crafted of flawless glaes formed into a circle. Delicate strands of spidersilk wind around the white rim, creating a small but spectacular web within the frame. At the center of the web is a tiny white spider.

Along the rim, a few words have been engraved.

>raise my charm
A faint cloud of white smoke swirls up around you for just a moment.

>pour charm in my flask
You can't pour that.

>pour charm on my flask
You can't pour that.

>pour charm flask
Pour what?

>pour flask in my charm
You can't pour your white flask into that!

>pour flask on my charm
You pour your flask on the charm.
That won't accomplish much.
You have 4 doses left.

>pour flask charm
Pour what?

>turn charm
You turn a bright white glaes spider charm over.

>raise charm
You raise your glaes spider charm skyward!

>pour charm in my flask
You can't pour that.

>pour charm on my flask
You can't pour that.

>pour flask in my charm
You can't pour your white flask into that!

>pour flask on my charm
You pour your flask on the charm.
That won't accomplish much.
You have 3 doses left.

>turn my charm
You turn a bright white glaes spider charm over.

>raise my charm
A faint cloud of white smoke swirls up around you for just a moment.

You pour your flask on the charm.
That won't accomplish much.
You have 2 doses left.

You pour your flask on the charm.
That won't accomplish much.
You only have one dose left.

You pour your flask on the charm.
That won't accomplish much.
That was the last drop.

>raise my charm
A faint cloud of white smoke swirls up around you for just a moment.

>look charm
The charm is crafted of flawless glaes formed into a circle. Delicate strands of spidersilk wind around the white rim, creating a small but spectacular web within the frame. At the center of the web is a tiny white spider.

Along the rim, a few words have been engraved.

>rub charm
The glistening strands of the web glow softly as you rub one finger across your glaes spider charm.

>push charm
You might be mistaken, but you could swear that the tiny spider in your glaes spider charm just waved at you!
