Self-Raising Amulets were introduced at the Grand Auction of 5123 on March, 26, 2023. The Self-Raising Amulet was designed by GM Wylloh and coded by ??? GM Wylloh has referred to the amulets as Lesser Amulet of the Arkati and Greater Amulet of the Arkati as they have different abilities. Tier 1 (Lesser Amulet of the Arkati) Analyze You analyze your faewood amulet and sense that the creator has provided the following information: This is a self-raising amulet for the solo adventuring types. Each use requires a chrism, and has a use limit of 2x/week. It will provide a lesser sanctuary to the current room, stop any bleeding, as well as the chrism application prior to the self-raise. It can store up to five chrisms. Chrisms will be used on a "last-in, first-out" basis. ALTERATIONS: Alterations are ONLY allowed for customizable fields. No base, long, or show alterations. Listed settings can be altered. Central stone: white soulstone Chain: white alloy Settings: white ora Decorative filigree: eonake USAGE: Fluff: Kiss, Pray, Raise, Rub, Tickle, Touch, Turn Mechanical: - Poke (see how many chrisms are in the amulet) - Pull (remove & destroy chrism) - Push (add chrism to empty setting) - Look (activate when dead) This item will not work in Private Residences, rooms that disallow magic or teleportations, or sanctuaries. Verb Style First Third KISS Style Absentmindedly, you lift your faewood amulet to your lips, brushing it slowly across them as you whisper your thanks to Eorgina for her plentiful gifts unto you. As you speak the last word, the amulet flares to life, nearly blinding you with a brilliant fiery red light. Satisfied that your prayer's been heard, you return the amulet back to its rightful place. Daenamaryllis lifts her faewood amulet to her lips, brushing it slowly across them while whispering to it. After a moment, the amulet flares to life, nearly blinding you with a brilliant fiery red light for a brief moment. Daenamaryllis then tucks the amulet away as the light fades. PRAY Style Comforting yourself, you rub circles with the pad of your thumb against the back of your faewood amulet and whisper a soft prayer, causing the amulet to glow and bring warmth to your touch, lending reassurance that Eorgina is with you. With a furrowed brow, Daenamaryllis whispers softly to her faewood amulet, causing the amulet to glow a dull white. Worry lines across Daenamaryllis's forehead fade away. RAISE Style A surge of warmth courses through your chest from your faewood amulet. The sensation is reminiscent of being embraced by a loved one. Unable to help yourself, you raise your fist into the air and shout, "Praise, Eorgina, for she is with me!" With your final word, rays of warm light cascade across your face. A serene look passes over Daenamaryllis's face as she raises her faewood amulet into the air, displaying the Eorgina symbol on the back and shouts, "Praise, Eorgina, for she is with me!" Her faewood amulet twinkles in the ambient light. RUB Style You rub at your faewood amulet as you close your eyes and murmur softly to yourself. A flash of light causes you to blink your eyes open, and for the briefest moment, you would swear you could see a wisp of fiery red and get the distinct feeling that you're being watched. Daenamaryllis rubs her thumb over her faewood amulet, closing her eyes as she murmurs something under her breath. She blinks rapidly, a surprised look on her face. TICKLE Style You brush your fingertips over the surface of your faewood amulet, inspecting the faulted work that went into its creation. You trace the outline of the stylized flames on the back. The blackened grooves still feel warm to the touch and glisten with a slight red glow that quickly fades as your caress moves away from it. Daenamaryllis fiddles with her faewood amulet, causing a faint red glow to briefly shine across her features. TOUCH Style You reach out to touch your faewood amulet and are blinded by a bright, white light. Flashes of images span across your sight. Visions rapidly fly by of a basket of herbs, a child lost in the woods, a city official waiting by a town gate, creatures of all shapes and sizes multiplying by the dozens out in the wilds, and finally, the image of a large, hulking beast approaching you. It swings down at you, and you blink yourself back to where you were, sweat covering your brow. Daenamaryllis's eyes roll back inside her head as she stares upwards towards the heavens. Tiny beads of sweat begin to form across her forehead and upper lip until she finally blinks several times out of the trance she was just in. TURN Style You lift your faewood amulet up so you can gaze upon it, twisting the white alloy chain so that the pendant twirls around and around. As you stare at the badly broken, your surroundings become far away and all you can see and hear is the white alloy chain clinking. A gentle breeze at your ear brings your attention back, and you drop your faewood amulet back against your chest as you hear a faint whisper, "You will find solace within my temples." Daenamaryllis lifts up her faewood amulet, twisting the white alloy chain so that the pendant twirls around and around. She stares at it for a long time before becoming startled by something and drops the amulet so that it rests against her chest once more.
