The alpestris is bromeliad, a type of flowering plant. This variety is a saffron yellow color.

The alpestris is a real world plant. There currently is no Elanthian specific lore associated with it.

Alpestris only grows in Naidem. This variety can be found most easily in the Graveyard Temporalis or Ember Ridge Orchard, although it also grows elsewhere in Evermore Hollow.
