A chatelaine is a decorative clasp or chain worn at the waist, from which keys, scissors, or other useful small tools can be suspended. It serves as both a functional and ornamental accessory. Design to be a compliment for the Mini-Smelter's chatelaine design, it was introduced in 2024 at the Ebon Gate festival in the shop Fresh from the Coven. Dangling from a length of chain is a wren-capped clip that is intended to house a thimble, while a lacquered birch eyeglass case keeps spectacles conveniently within reach.
