Gleaming dark silk woven with climbing roses is draped over the ashen stone walls of the cool, tapered chamber. The cobblestone flooring widens into a half-moon toward the back, highlighting an austere pale monir ambry lit by gently curled ironworked sconces filled with ivory candles. Nestled into a removed corner, a carved heart of ebony cabinet sits on a lush burgundy carpet with satin tassels. The delicate scents of petrichor and incense smoke elusively linger in the air.

Rows of ecru beeswax candles haunt the narrow chamber with ghostly light, accentuating the intricate bas-relief roses snaking over the stone surface of the walls. A silver-chased mistwood trunk displays its innards enticingly in the dim, flickering glow. You also see a ribbon-woven ebon and silver basket and a shaded passage.

Shadowplay, Niche

The stony alcove is mostly barren, save for a broad shelf that is set into the entire lower length of the surrounding walls. Serving as the only other adornment, a vaalin-barred glass lantern looms above the space, its flickering interior casting a pale, silvered glow over the whole room. You also see a shaded passage.
