Sunlight filters through the rustling leaves of the enormous ash tree. A small platform of scuffed wood contrasts with the numerous jewels suspended from the branches in an elaborate mesh of multicolored satin cords. A hammock spans the space between two thick limbs, sagging with the weight of a ragged cotton blanket and a single pillow.
