Dwarven Weaponsmith

The weaponsmith is wearing thick dirty coveralls which are covered in metallic dust of several dull colors. Surprisingly, his beard is quite clean compared to his clothes and you wonder how he manages it.

Carefully, the dwarven weaponsmith takes the grindstone apart and begins to oil the parts. "Thing squeaks like a half-chewed mouse..." he grumbles.

Groaning slightly, the dwarven weaponsmith pops his knuckles. You, however, wince at the hideous cracking.

Grumbling and cursing under his breath, the dwarven weaponsmith climbs up on a stool to affix the head of a halberd to the pole.

The dwarven weaponsmith moves to the grindstone and carefully sharpens a blade before polishing it and placing it on the rack.

The dwarven weaponsmith takes out a dagger and carefully cleans his fingernails.

The dwarven weaponsmith takes out an oiled cloth and carefully polishes the counter.

Whistling, the dwarven weaponsmith takes out a carving knife and begins shaping the hilt for a dagger.

With obvious pride, the dwarven weaponsmith surveys his shop. "Built this shop up m'self," he says, "with the wife's egg money and my own sweat. Feels good to see travelers such as yourself standing in it."

"Y'know," the dwarven weaponsmith says conversationally, "I near cut off my finger making a blade once." He stops to ponder a moment. "The wife bought that dagger..." He blinks, then industriously wipes the counter.
