Revision as of 00:06, 1 April 2017
The MARK verb allows one to mark items as unsellable to NPC pawnshops, furriers, and gemshops. It also prevents them from being thrown into a trashbin. You must be holding the item in order to use the verb.
Usage
- Mark [item]
Marks the item as unsellable
>mark my head You carefully mark your tattered headscarf as unsellable.
- Mark [item] remove
Removes the unsellable mark from the item
>mark head remove You remove the unsellable mark from your tattered headscarf.
- Mark [item] status
Checks the current sellable status of the item
>mark head status Your tattered headscarf has been marked as unsellable.
>mark hoops status Your enormous silver hoops is not marked as unsellable.
Troubleshooting
You must be holding the item you wish to mark as unsellable. Attempting to MARK an item not in one's hands gives the following message:
You must be holding the item you wish to mark as unsellable.
A misspelling of the item you are attempting to MARK, or if the game can otherwise not find the item, will give the following message:
What are you attempting to mark as unsellable?
Attempting to mark an item that is already marked will give messaging reflecting so:
>mark head Your tattered headscarf has already been marked as unsellable.
Attempting to unmark an item that is not marked will give messaging reflecting so:
>mark head remove Your tattered headscarf is not marked as unsellable.
