Offensive bonus (OB) can generically refer to a weapon's enchantment or, more specifically, when an item--armor, shields, jewelry, clothing--that typically does not not offer an offensive benefit provides one. These items are known collectively as OB items; they are extremely rare, much more so than DB items.
Zelnorn is a material with a natural OB, meaning that shields and armor made of zelnorn will have equivalent or almost equivalent benefits to both attack strength and defensive strength.
