THE STAR OF SHARATH

Her dark eyes once met my grey

Each followers of the Sacred Way

Together we were, like night and day

My light of Sharath

When once we lived and once we fought

All of this mattered naught

Battles won and battles sought

My heart of Sharath

For in time, she was my Muse

And my life I had to choose

For my pride or love to lose

My jewel of Sharath

Far beyond the shadow’s gloom

Within the Great Mountain lies her tomb

And in me, she found her doom

My star of Sharath

And thus I am with heartbreak

The tale of which my soul doth ache

And time itself can only take

My memory of Sharath
