Brightening the crammed shop with a rainbow of vivid hues, varied fabric bolts occupy every surface, heaped in precarious, pyramidal piles. Dip-dyed sindon curtains stretch from one plaster wall to another, the peeling facades cluttered with leather straps and striped galabias. Smoke coils from the smoldering chips inside a chalice-shaped brass incense burner nestled in the chaos on the counter, suffusing the air with the musky fragrance of agarwood. You also see old Abdul.

Abdul
Abdul, the half-elf proprietor, looks like he might once have possessed a swarthy type of good looks. However, those assets have fallen into a state of disrepair. Noticing you studying him, he smiles ingratiatingly, his hands resting on the pronounced paunch filling out the front of the food-stained galabia he wears.

Wooden crates obscure the walls and add an extra claustrophobic layer to the already cramped space, though some moonlight finds its way through the spaces between the boxes. The haphazard, floor-to-ceiling stockpile spills out assorted textiles, delicate fabrics snagging on the sharp edges. Shoved into the corner, a one-armed statue is draped in a gold-sheened kaftan over a finespun blouse and skirt, while a crepe scarf almost hides the enormous dent in its alabaster head.

Room name: Shop of Abdul
Room description: The small shop is crammed with cloth of every type and description. Vividly colored bolts sit on every surface, and straps and fragments of leather clutter the walls. The whiskery old elf who is proprietor of the mayhem sidles toward you, smiling craftily. He is wearing a striped galabia, the long, loose robe seen in abundance on the cobbled thoroughfares outside. Heavy incense scents the air, coiling up from a lit stick stuck into a brazier on the counter. You also see old Abdul.
