Behind the Scenes
The Pig and Whistle was originally located on Glamesine Var, near the present-day Royal Arboretum. Only bards could access the tavern for the first two years, via a loophole with Traveler's Song (1020). When it was finally opened in 5102, the Pig and Whistle had moved to its present location on Aerie Way. As featured in a Nations on the Brink short called The Hazards of Being Harold, the new owner inherited the structure from his mildly eccentric great aunt. Harold had been unsuccessfully renovating the structure for business and personal use at the time it was destroyed in 5123. The current-day Pig and Whistle on Aerie Way's ownership is unclear.
