Virion (platinum)

Virion Miritar Illistim is a warrior hailing from Ta'Illistim.
The Miritar family is one of minor nobility but great pride, particularly in the long tradition of noted magical talent. Virion, however, displayed little aptitude or interest in the arcane, much to the chagrin of his parents. His twin brother, Merithynos, on the other hand showed much promise at even a very young age. But in contrast to the physically robust Virion, Merith was frail and sickly and sadly died of his malady before his sixteenth year.
Now a member of the Sapphire Guard, Virion has described himself as an outrider--essentially a light cavalry scout dedicated patrolling the wilder areas surrounding the city-state's holdings. He seems to share an adventurous past with the treasure hunter and professor Cydris, though he has not shown much inclination to speak of it. The two have apparently only recently reconnected, with their time spent together of late fluctuating between warm and somewhat awkward.

- He is of a formidable stature and has a hard-muscled physique. He appears to have come of age. He has dark-rimmed grey-green eyes and fair skin. He has long, straight silver blonde hair with several strands drawn over his shoulders to rest against his chest. He has a chiseled, angular face, a sloping nose and slightly upswept pointed ears. His steeply arched, dark eyebrows and symmetrical features lend him a dour countenance. His pointed ear has been covered by a sinuous vaalin-scaled earcap, the curved hooks grasping at the side of his neck.

- He is wearing a dark hooded cloak lined with fur, a knotwork leather harness with a slender vaalorn lance and a scale-gripped bow secured to it slung over his shoulder, a suit of silvery elven field plate inlaid with niello scrollwork with a light blue linen gambeson underneath, a spliced glowbark band with a lucent cyan arathiel leaf traversing the divide, a slanted belt of rich cordovan pierced with pale silver grommets, a pair of grey elesine pants, a narrow leather thigh-quiver embossed with knotwork, a pair of argent platinum-glazed spurs, and a pair of cordovan leather boots embossed with floriated argent accents.
