The Forging Gouge is a fluff crafting script that applies to miscellaneous items. It was originally released at Ebon Gate 2022. It can hollow out a crafted weapon with a hilt and inset it with the gem version of a creature from the Bugs on Parade, Jeepers Creepers, or Life Aquatic systems. It has limited charges.
Analyze
This faenor gouge is used to hollow out a crafted weapon with a hilt and inset it with a bug that has not been turned into a gem. In order to work, the gouger must be charged with resin. The translucent resin can be colored with alchemy dye.
LOAD: Add alchemy dye
PROD: Insert a bug
TURN: Change the imbed style
PUSH: Imbed a bug into a crafted weapon hilt
The faenor gouge has been unlocked to Tier 3. You can TOUCH, WAVE, SPIN, POINT, THUMP, and RUB the gouge.

Holding the blade of your faenor gouge carefully, you smack the handle against your other palm several times, getting a satisfying *THWACK* with each hit.

A bored look on <his/her> face, Character begins to smack the handle of <his/her> faenor gouge against <his/her> palm, a series of loud *THWACKS* emanating from the force.

Additional Information
It was originally sold in The Gouged Heart during Ebon Gate. Regardless of tier, this item has limited uses/charges (25). Clear resin to recharge it was not available to purchase as of 2025, however it can be permified at the PERM-ifier.
The tool works with gem versions of Bugs on Parade insects, Jeepers Creepers birds, and Life Aquatic creatures.
