Surrounded by stonework, the exit is framed in dark mahogany with a slightly curved lintel. The adjoining walls are covered in pristine white plaster, while the ceiling has exposed rafters that support golden linden paneling. Flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a view of the arctic landscape beyond, an enormous cobblestone fireplace spreads heat through the open space, dispelling any chill that that tries to invade the domicile. You also see a large floor basket filled with wooden sticks.

Stretching from the foyer in the south to the alcove in the north, a long fuzzy runner of shaggy white roltalen muffles the movement of those within the hall. Large windows capped in keyhole arches dominate the western walls with their leaded, stained-glass designs and each is surrounded by a plethora of frosted globes that keep the expanse illuminated. Here and there, doors providing entry to various workspaces fill the space beyond the white stucco walls. You also see a quill-carved mahogany door stained in colorful inks and a stained-glass door wreathed in silver filigree and deep blue.

Stretching from the foyer in the south to the alcove in the north, a long fuzzy runner of shaggy white roltalen muffles the movement of those within the hall. Large windows capped in keyhole arches dominate the western walls with their leaded, stained-glass designs and each is surrounded by a plethora of frosted globes that keep the expanse illuminated. Here and there, doors providing entry to various workspaces fill the space beyond the white stucco walls. You also see a ring-inset sandalwood door covered in a jeweled mosaic and a stained-glass door framed in leaded curls of cobalt and gold.

Crescent-shaped, the alcove has exposed dark mahogany rafters that support a ceiling of glossy golden linden planks. Pendant-shaped lanterns dangle over the space, spreading an even illumination that aids those working nearby. An orb-shaped cobblestone fireplace keeps the chill of arctic winds at bay, while grey suede chairs and small tables are arranged in social circles for the comfort of those working. You also see a robe-engulfed elven scholar and a large floor basket filled with wooden sticks.

Almost fully concealed beneath a layered robe of bluish grey maedatha, the elven scholar's vibrant hazel green eyes gaze around the alcove in quiet contemplation.  A well-honed collection of tools and devices are draped across her torso, each one set at an angle for ease of use.  Inked across her visible, tanned skin are floral arabesques, the myriad of botanicals engulfing her lithe hands.

The cutler gazes around the alcove beneath a pair of riveted leather goggles, the woman armed with a bandolier filled with mixed metal cutlery and belt-affixed cylinders of sanded wood.  Woven through the ring-decorated plaits of her beard are a number of crafting needles, the pointed ends protected by pieces of cork.

Loops of colorful fabric drape from the potter's ribbon-latticed belt, the wound lengths curtaining the various paint-speckled pockets covering her skirt.  Ringlets of her rainbow gradient-dyed hair rests amongst the florals crowning her head, the length neatly pierced by an elongated paintbrush.
