The cute toy is a fluff script that applies to miscellaneous items, and is part of the Ebon Gate participation prizes family of scripts. It is a lightly scripted toy that resembles a furry animal with a tail.
Analyze
You sense that it can be altered, but the toy must remain an furry animal of some sort, one that logically has a tail! You can try to POKE, PULL, SHAKE, TURN, HUG, and KISS the toy.
