The spell Interference causes the lesser spirits in the area to interfere with the target's offensive and defensive abilities.
The penalty to AS is twice of the penalty to DS. There is also a chance that the target's spell casting will be hindered somewhat depending on the caster's knowledge of the Major Spiritual spell circle.
Interference has a 30 TD pushdown compared to other Major Spirit spells.
A successful warding with Interference will apply a base 15 Spiritual TD penalty, increased with training in Spiritual Lore, Summoning.
Lore Benefits
Training in Spiritual Lore, Summoning increases the penalty to a target's defense when attempting to ward a follow-up spiritual spell at a rate of +1 at 5 lore ranks, and has a maximum of +16 at 200 lore ranks.
