Pie Shop

Pie Shop is a specialty shop in Wehnimer's Landing. It is located in a bright yellow building in Town Square, Small Park.

Bright yellow paint coats the walls, which are bordered with grinning white skulls outlined in black. The mishmash of variegated unfinished wood plank flooring is topped by several chairs and tables that surround a broad pristine display counter laden with pies and other edibles. Snaking through three large street-facing windows, swathes of moonlight mingle with smoldering candlelight, though the illumination does little to chase away the darkness that engulfs the far corners of the shop. You also see a swinging door.

     On the display counter you see a cup of sassafras tea, a mug of toasted hazelnut coffee, a jug of black coffee, a skull-painted cup of dark hot chocolate and some chalky white jars.
     In the display counter you see a whipped cream-heaped spiced pumpkin pie, an apple and pear pie, a lightly browned treacle pie, a sour lime pie topped with dollops of whipped cream, a caramel-drizzled pecan pie, a chocolate cookie-crusted peanut butter pie, a miniature smasten berry pie, a tart blueberry pie, a shortbread-crusted banana cream pie, a fluffy fruit muffin covered in sanguine icing, a crumb-topped blackberry pie, a honey-swirled winterberry cupcake topped with whiskey frosting and a stack of soft bananaberry pancakes garnished with orange slices.
     In the chalky white jars you see a pyramidal clear crystal bottle, a squat silvery white flask, a golden herb-etched phial, a scorch-edged dark grey ampule, a bright yellow wooden bottle carved with dandelions, a warped bright orange vial and a small white bottle painted with iceblossoms.

Inky black liquid tendrils lethargically seep out of a large wooden sign titled "The Pie Shop: Once Eaten, Twice Pie", wrapping it so completely that the lettering at the top is completely obscured.  The tendrils languidly slink around it, then recede completely leaving the shop with a new name: "The Pie Shop: Live Free and Pie Hard".
