Amunet Confusion

I have heard more than one person give guidance to new rogues stating that amunet hurts you when picking and disarming. I know that as of 8/1/2010 according to GM Oscuro, "Having an activated thought net (via crystal amulet or any other method) no longer provides a penalty to disarming traps or any other form of locksmithing. Locksmiths should feel free to use their regained rights to telepathically converse with other townsfolk." But I had to dig hard to find that. Is it appropriate to maybe add a line to the article that says, "As of 2010, amunet no longer causes a penalty to locksmithing."?
