Description:   Dianthus are typically perennial herbaceous flowering plants. Its leaves are slim and elongated, and the flower has five petals with a slight trailing frill along its outer edges that drapes around it to form a twisting dark-hued veil, its lines knobby and hooked like the hand of a wraith.
