Darrgo (prime)
| ||||||||||||||||||||
Grand Lord Darrgo hails from Wehnimer's Landing and was born around the year 5100, but his past remains a mystery.
He's a towering Giantman Warrior that appears to be in the spring of his life.
He has a broad-shouldered thick frame, deep-set milky blue eyes, tanned skin, a shaven head of black hair, a square-jawed face, a broad nose and a thick mustache and beard.
His left cheek is pierced with a teardrop dark ebony pearl, an enruned ivory fang in the upper ridge of his left ear, a howling grey wolf tattoo on his neck, a sword-crossed treasure chest tattoo on his arm, and his other arm is pierced with a black-tinted amethyst pygmy octopus.
Darrgo also has a jagged scar concealed near his collarbone - caused by the looks of wolf teeth of some sort.
The Giantman is covered in wolf attire that he's hunted - as he tries to hunt down the one that cursed him.
Backstory:
After being bitten by a werewolf, Darrgo was left for dead near the ocean - while the Lycanthropy has also blurred his memory to where he's forgotten his past. He was found by a fellow adventurer, Zerrato, who has helped him in his recovery and also crafted him a poisoned necklet that helps hold back his transformation, but also leaves him feeling weakened from time to time due to the poison.
Darrgo keeps himself busy with crafting to fight the urge to transform, but when swarmed by enemies, he's been known to lose his mind briefly and berserk. With the help of joining the Warriors Guild and becoming a Master at Voln, he's learned to fight these primal urges, and has trained his mind to refocus on creativity with sheath making, cobbling, and knitting.
During his travels, Darrgo joined a crew led by Admiral Pixie, and has been known to sail aboard the Madness as a Boatswain with them to help and use his muscle when needed. They've become like family and have grown accustomed to feeding into his creative mind.
Darrgo holds onto hope that one day he'll regain his memory from where he came from and who he was - as the only thing he has from his past is a wedding band.
Today:
Darrgo can be found creating custom orders for other adventurers, hunting for supplies, and assisting with The Silvergate Inn.
Some days he sails on his ship, "The Terrifying Argent Leviathan", to try and find where he came from and if he has a wife that's waiting for him somewhere.
Lately though, the combination of Lycanthropy and Zerrato's Poison Necklet to keep his curse at bay, has started to fracture Darrgo's mind. It could be the poison, or the animal instincts seeping through, but Darrgo's become weary of Zerrato's story of how he came to find him near the beach and if he truly is trying to help.
Revelations
As the poison in Darrgo's necklet weakened over time, Zerrato made one last, but successful effort, in making it permanent to stop his Werewolf transformation.
In doing so though, Zerrato used up too much of his life force and perished.
Thankfully Pixie was with Zerrato to help subdue Darrgo to let the new poison sink in and take effect, but was burdened with a secret. The ordeal has left Darrgo's mind fractured - not knowing what happened, or the story Zerrato revealed to Pixie that Darrgo actually killed his wife while he was transformed into a Werewolf, and that Zerrato tried to hide it in hopes to keep Darrgo from fully losing his mind and allowing the Lycanthropy from taking over.
