Hear ye, hear ye! You are all cordially invited to the 1st annual, though not first of its kind, Rumor Woods and Summit Academy Auction. An antiquarian will be on site to facilitate the event, which will begin at 4pm EDT on May 2, 2026.
On Saturday, April 25, we will share information on some of the offerings.
There will be approximately 20 items on offer during this event.
OOC Note: This is not a Wyromania, shenanigans, or in any way Duskruin-esque. This is something different and will remain unique to Rumor Woods and Summit Academy. Please set your expectations appropriately.
Clarifications
Offerings at the Rumor Woods and Summit Academy Auction will include the following:
- 5 Unique weapons with Rumor Woods themes and/or material unique to Rumor Woods
- 3 Unique armors with Rumor Woods themes and/or materials unique to Rumor Woods
- 3 Property Offerings (These are modifications or adjustments to new properties. There will not be a property offered this time around.)

- Spurious Advantage - Spur Flourish - When you wear them, it gives you a +10 SMR bonus to Mount Trample and Mount Charge. It also allows you to follow up with a slash critical flare from your spurs.

This is a fully customized and unlocked Of the Faith cloak, max deep/light w. a desert-themed meditation unlock with 40% electric resistance.
>look burnoose - Layers of sand-hued linen drape in voluminous folds, the fabric cut generously enough that long, loose sleeves and a deep hood lend the burnoose an almost monastic presence to the ankle-sweeping hemline. Bright blue collared lizard hide reinforces each seam, its vivid scaling a striking contrast to the fabric. The stitchwork joining the two materials is extraordinary, so fine and precise as to be nearly invisible. At the throat is a braided sisal frog closure, molded by tight braiding into a scorpion.
Meditation Messaging - Kneeling 1st person - Settling your weight more fully upon your knees, you gather the loose folds of your linen burnoose around you and still your breathing until it matches the slow, patient rhythm of open sands. Your fingers drift upward to trace the ebon sisal frogs at your throat, and you draw your thoughts inward as you think about the warmth held in the depths of the desert. These thoughts bring you comfort, allowing you to slip into a deep meditation.
Meditation Messaging - Prone 1st person moving to knees - Rolling to your side, you press your palms to the ground and rise to your knees, pausing to let the layered linen of your burnoose fall around you in soft folds. You close your eyes and turn your face toward the open air. You turn your mind to memory, listening for the echo of the desert, the passage of wind, and find yourself grounded in those thoughts.
Shell Armor
Two new sets of shell armor are in the auction list this year, and it's the first time the makers of shell armor have turned their magic toward scorpion carapaces. After their success in working with sea urchins, they figured nature's skittering nightmares were an obvious next step.
INFO: Both sets are 8x with acid flares, heat and crush resistances, spiked, fully lightened, and have 10 CERs of crit. The brig is made of greatest starsong, and the double leathers are greater shadarl.
