Brewing kettles are used as part of the coffee and tea brewing system to brew tea or coffee. A portable stove or other heat source is needed to heat the brewing kettle.
Analyze
This is a brewing kettle used to boil water to make tea or coffee. A portable stove or other heat source is needed to heat the kettle. POUR in water, PUT in tea leaves (alone or in an infuser) or coffee grounds, brew for the desired amount of time, and GET it to pour the drink into your cup. CLEAN it to reset it for its next use.
Usage
- POUR fresh water into the kettle or CAST Minor Water (903) at it.
- PUT tea leaves, coffee grounds, or a filled infuser into the kettle.
- Place the kettle on a portable stove, Collapsible Tripod, or another compatible heat source.
- LOOK IN the kettle to monitor its contents and brewing strength.
- POUR the finished drink into a cup. For permanently installed kettles, hold an appropriate cup and GET the kettle.
- CLEAN the kettle to empty and reset it. TURN may also be used to discard its contents.

Additional Information
- A kettle holds up to 35 sips, equivalent to five full cups.
- It requires 72 heating pulses, normally three minutes, to bring the water to a boil.
- Complete brewing requires an additional five seconds per dose of water.
- LOOK IN describes the liquid as pale, murky, or rich according to its brewing progress.
- TURN requires confirmation before discarding the contents. CLEAN immediately empties and resets the kettle.
