Deepening

Deepening is a commonly offered merchant service in which a player can have the capacity of his/her containers increased. Players may use the inspect verb to see how much their containers hold, and the analyze verb to see if the container is already at maximum capacity, or may be worked on by a merchant.

GameMasters are limited to how much they can deepen a container at a time (I think 10%), and there are standards set for how much a container can hold based on its weight, description (e.g., sheath, harness, backpack, apron), and the slot in the character's inventory it occupies (e.g., back, cloak, shoulder/back, belt).
