A BOW is an action traditionally used by males to show deference to another.

WAVEDANCER WEDDING - You knuckle your forehead with a sly wink as you drop a deep bow in (target's) direction. STANDARD - You bow to (target). HALFLING - Folding your left arm behind your back and dipping to one knee, you bow respectfully to (target) and incline your head. ILLISTIM - Your bow to (target) is graceful and perfunctory, as is the brief nod of your head that accompanies it. Object targets: STANDARD - In a strange gesture, you bow to (object). ILLISTIM - You defer to the (target), favoring it with a perfunctory bow. Creature targets: STANDARD - You bow to (creature). ILLISTIM FIRST PERSON - Such a gesture would be beneath you. OTHERS - Person glances at (target), regarding it with a critical eye. No target: STANDARD - You bow.
