To create a brilliant dye, pour the brilliant dye additive in the completed dye. Both adjectives are combined (e.g. "a glittering light red vial of dye"). The dyed item will also have both adjectives

You pour the additive into your green vial of dye. As the two substances blend together, the dye slowly transforms into a brilliant green vial of dye.

2. Add powdered waxy grey caederine
3. Boil
4. Add 3 doses of ground sponge mushroom
5. Simmer
6. Add powdered uncut star-of-Tamzyrr diamond
7. Channel

7. Add powdered dragon's-tear diamond

Shimmering dye additive

The formula for shimmering dye additive was found in the Library; no rank information is known.

Additionally, this formula was incomplete when found. Based on the other additive formulas, it is hypothesized that the missing step is a Simmer. Template:Recipe card

5. Possibly Simmer (this step was smudged when the formula was discovered)
