Paladins' Crusade spell grants damage weighting and a chance of deity-specific flares to physical attacks and bolt attacks used by the paladin or anyone else in the group.

But what if you could do a physical attack and a bolt attack at the same time?

Blink weapons are one of the most high-end script flares in the game, most recently sold at Duskruin last year for 400k bloodscrip, and are prized for their ability to flare a spell natively known by the user. It's as simple as preparing a spell and casting it at the weapon to set that spell as the flare, then swinging away.

If you use a blink weapon with a bolt set into it while in a group with a paladin who has Crusade up, it's possible that Crusade will grant your swing the paladin's flare, the blink weapon will flare the bolt, and then Crusade will also grant the bolt the paladin's flare. Talk about a benefit!

And while this last hypothetical isn't exactly likely to see any use, let's consider just for fun...

A far, far, far post-cap paladin trained in Spell Aiming could potentially get seven flares in a single swing by swinging an ensorcelled, rotflaring, paladin-bonded blink weapon imbued with Fire Spirit while Crusade is in effect!

Hoy also asks if 1625 can be used to infuse a second bolt flare into a blink weapon, which... I'll have to test at some point!
