Yalto Octorus runs the Tentacled Tavern, a bar in Solhaven.

Description

Yalto Octorus appears to be a middle-aged giantman, his massive and well-defined arms wrapped in a pair of leather-laced bracers, and his chest as broad as the modwir bar he serves his fine spirits on. Draped from his massive shoulders is a chain mesh shirt, and soft black leather trousers cover his legs. His golden blonde hair coils elegantly on his shoulders.

Ambients

Yalto reaches under the bar and pulls out a brush, primping his hair and smiling out into the tavern. Meeting the eye of a maiden in the corner, he gives her an interested wink.

Yalto notices a smudge on the modwir bar and quickly grabs a towel and buffs the smudge out. Gazing at his reflection in the glossy surface he muses, "I'm too good looking to be tending this bar."

A loud crash followed by some banging of pots and pans can be heard from the backroom. Yalto yells, "Stop that noise, we got customers here trying to enjoy their meal!"

A foul smell seeps in from the back kitchen, causing Yalto to raise his eyebrows and glance towards the kitchen door. He mutters softly, "I guess they finally offed that old rolton."

An old man wanders into the tavern and props himself up at the bar. Yalto and he exchange small talk and silvers, and the old man downs a cup of wine and staggers out. Yalto chuckles, "That old man always does that, it's a wonder he didn't stop and tell that dull sea thrak story of his."

Yalto walks over to a barrel of wine and hoists it over his head, then lowers it to the ground. "Have to stay in shape, never know when the day'll come that I need to raise my sword again," he says gravely.

Noticing a bottle of liquor out of place, Yalto promptly repositions it, mutters, "Has to be perfect, like me," and flashes you a perfect smile.
