Thanks to a grand update, foraged items can now be analyzed—revealing their hidden secrets and intended uses! No more accidental potion ingredients ending up in your tea (we hope).

But wait, there's more! Our beloved food items have also received a gourmet glow-up. Ever wondered exactly what that honey-drizzled tart or smoked fish skewer tastes like? Well, wonder no longer! Each bite now unveils its unique qualities and taste messaging, ensuring that your culinary adventures are as vivid as your imagination (and hopefully less regrettable than that mushroom).

So go forth, forage wisely, and savor every flavorful bite!

Example 1 - acantha leaf:

You analyze the acantha leaf and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

This is a foraged item.  It is a type of herb.

You may eat some acantha leaf to restore blood loss.

There is a chance you can sell this at a local Herbal Shop.

Example 2 - small apple:

You analyze the small apple and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

This is a foraged item.  It is a type of fruit.

You may eat a small apple.

There is a chance you can sell this at a local Herbal Shop.

Example 3 - pink wild rose:

You analyze the pink wild rose and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

This is a foraged item.  It is a type of flower.

There is a chance you can sell this at a local Herbal Shop.

Example 4 - spiced liqueur:

You analyze the spiced liqueur and sense that the item cannot be altered in any way.

The creator has also provided the following information:

A snifter of spiced liqueur is alcohol.  Eventually, it will make you drunk.

When you consume a snifter of spiced liqueur, you randomly have the chance to get one of the below food messages:

Pleasant traces of licorice, gingerbread, and vanilla linger on your tongue.

Example 5 - smoky tea:

You analyze the smoky tea and sense that the item cannot be altered in any way.

The creator has also provided the following information:

A cup of smoky tea is considered a hot drink.  It has the following additional verb options:  LICK, NUDGE, PUFF, RUB, SMELL, and TURN

When you consume a cup of smoky tea, you randomly have the chance to get one of the below food messages:
