A chia pet is a clay planter made in the shape of an animal. It can be watered to grow the seeds within with plain water. Watering it consistently (once a day) is necessary to keep it alive. If watered for an appropriate length of time, it will bestow the owner a one-time gift of an experience orb. The type of orb awarded depends on how faithfully the owner waters it and how many days were missed, if any. You cannot miss a single day of watering it if you want to get the maximum quality experience orb. Watering it for 14 consecutive days, without missing a single day, will yield the maximum of a violet orb. Watering it between 7 and 13 days out of a total of 14 will yield a blue orb. Watering it less than 7 days will yield no orb. The chia pet has been made available a couple of times via a CLAIM/GIFTBOX. Usage
Additional InformationPer Wyrom, the chia pet should only be capable of being watered once a day. If you do all 14 days, you get a violet orb. If you do between 7 and 13, you get a blue orb. If you don't do 7 days, you don't get anything. It logs on the game's end for when it is watered. It does use eastern time. The system has no wiggle room though.
