Verb:RAISE

RAISE Type Roleplaying, System Citizen River's Rest Race Dark elf System Magic

RAISE is both a roleplay and magic system verb.

For roleplay, there are special interactions based on object, as well as citizen and racial versions.

RAISE is used as an activator for some magic items and requires training in Magic Item Use.

Usage:
    RAISE HAND {target}              - Raise your hand at an optional target
    RAISE EYEBROW {target}           - Raise your eyebrow at an optional target
    RAISE FIST {target}              - Raise your fist at an optional target
    RAISE {target}                   - Raise an object
    RAISE SET [option]               - Shows or sets the RAISE verb options available.

People targets:
HAND             - You raise your hand.
FIST             - You raise your fist in a display of defiance.
EYEBROW
  STANDARD
    FIRST PERSON - You give your eyebrow a little workout.
    OTHERS       - (target) raises an eyebrow.
  DARK ELF       - You arch one eyebrow at (target) in an expression of sardonic amusement.

Self target:
HAND             - You shoot your hand into the air, waving it frantically, then use your other
                   hand to raise it even higher, your entire body wiggling with excitement.
FIST             - Clenching your fist tightly, you raise it to the sky, your body shaking
                   in frustration and rage.
EYEBROW
  STANDARD       - You raise your eyebrow, an incredulous expression on your face.
  DARK ELF       - You arch a skeptical eyebrow, pondering whether your amusement with the
                   world outweighs your disgust.

Object targets:
WEAPONS         - You raise your (target) in triumph!
DRINK
  STANDARD       - You raise your (target) in a toast!
  RIVERS REST    - You raise your (target) in a toast to River's Rest!
OTHER            - You raise your (target) skyward!

No target:
HAND             - You raise your hand.
FIST             - You raise your fist in a display of defiance.
EYEBROW
  FIRST PERSON   - You give your eyebrow a little workout.
  OTHERS         - XXX raises an eyebrow.

NOTE:  ONLY first person messaging is listed unless it differs substantially from other versions.  Wedding messaging will only work with your spouse, all other targets default to standard messaging.  Messaging without an option shown applies to all options.  Special scripts and areas may override listed messaging.

Magic System
