Shaving Kit

A shaving kit is a container holding scripted shaving implements and boxed, scented shaving soaps. Shaving kits were released at The Spitfire in 5115 (2015) from the shop Shaver Me Timbers, located at room 19143 and entered through a door with a red and white striped pole suspended above it. The shop was described as offering shaving supplies, specialty scented soaps, and fine-quality razors.

A complete kit, assembled with every implement and all ten soaps, contains seventeen items — six implements, ten boxed soaps, and a second shaving bowl.

In the shaving kit:

The kit

Analyze

You analyze the shaving kit and sense that the item is free from merchant
alteration restrictions.

You can tell that the kit is as light as it can get, but you might be able to
have a talented merchant deepen its pockets for you.

Implements

Water is required for use of the bowl and brush. The original release teaser shows a cup of clear fresh water among the kit's contents.

White glass shaving bowl

You analyze the glass shaving bowl and sense that the item is largely free from
merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item type
should not change."

The creator has also provided the following information:
A white glass shaving bowl appears to be a shaving bowl used for holding shaving soap.
Closer inspection reveals that you can PUT or DROP soap IN the bowl.
Once filled and wetted down with water, a wet brush can be DIPPED or DROPPED IN
the bowl to create shaving lather.

Tufty shaving brush

You analyze the shaving brush and sense that the item is largely free from
merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item type
should not change."

The creator has also provided the following information:
A tufty shaving brush appears to be a shaving brush to be used with a filled
shaving bowl.
Closer inspection reveals that you can DIP the brush in water to wet it and in a
wet filled soap bowl to load the bristles with lather.
CLEANing the brush while holding some water should remove any dry lather.

Folding shaving razor

You analyze the folding shaving razor and sense that the item is largely free
from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item
type should not change."

The creator has also provided the following information:
A folding shaving razor appears to be a straight edge razor for shaving with.
Closer inspection reveals that you can OPEN and CLOSE the razor as well as CLEAN
it with a cloth.
PULLing it across your face should give you a freshly shaved experience, but only
temporarily.

OPEN	You unfold your folding shaving razor with a flick of your wrist, the handle in your palm balanced perfectly with the extended blade.
CLOSE	After depressing the blade lock, you snap the folding shaving razor's blade back into the handle with a practiced flick of your wrist.
CLEAN (while holding a cloth)	With care for your fingers, you gently buff the folding shaving razor's blade with your nubby cloth. Roundtime: 5 sec.

Leather strop

You analyze the leather strop and sense that the item is largely free from
merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item type
should not change."

The creator has also provided the following information:
A leather strop appears to be a strop used for sharpening shaving razors.
Closer inspection reveals that you can PUT the strop ON something like a barrel
to tether it.
RUBbing a razor ON the strop would probably give the razor a nice sharp edge.

Nubby cloth

You analyze the nubby cloth and sense that the item is largely free from merchant
alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item type should
not change."

The creator has also provided the following information:
A nubby cloth appears to be a cloth used for shaving.
Closer inspection reveals that you can RUB the cloth on your face to remove
shaving cream.
CLEANing a razor while holding the cloth would be a handy way to remove built-up
crud.

Compact platinum mirror

You analyze the platinum mirror and sense that the item is largely free from
merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item has
restrictions on changing the noun."

The creator has also provided the following information:
This is a Mirror.  The mirror has a reflective surface, allowing you to see what
you look like.
The mirror supports both PEER and GAZE.  You may alter it at will, but the noun
MUST remain "mirror".

Soaps

Each soap is a brick housed in its own small stamped box. The soap must be held in hand for SMELL to return its scent.
