The Ghule hat is a fluff feature altering script that applies to accessory items, and is part of the Ghule items family of scripts. It was originally released at Ebon Gate by Ghule. It can temporarily alter a character's hair.

Analyze

You analyze the velvet hat and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item type should not change."

The creator has also provided the following information:
Currently you are able to use TAP, TILT, BOW, KICK, DROP in, GET from, WEAR, and REMOVE, and when worn, the hat will show up as part of your features.  If you happen to have special fangs, a ring, claws, or a cloak of a similar build, you'll find that things may look a bit fancier when you use the hat.  This hat cannot be unlocked further at present.

You get a strong sense that the aesthetics of hat can be altered by any merchant.  It must remain a hat or hatlike item -- something that can be worn on the head but still reasonably store small items and be "tipped." (as in tipping your hat to someone).  You may also ask a merchant to indicate what part of your hat you are touching when you attempt to WEAR the hat when it is already on your head.  (The default is brim -- though you may ask for another aspect or better descriptive instead.  Currently it is set to brim.)

Additionally, from time to time, a rare merchant will be able to change the way that the a black velvet hat looks atop your head.  Currently, the style on YOU will show as:     He has (hair style), (hair texture) (hair color) hair topped with a black velvet hat.


You can tell that the hat is as light as it can get, but you might be able to have a talented merchant deepen its pockets for you.

Unlocked

Unlocked Ghule hats provide additional verbs, including WEAR and REMOVE which may alter one's hair quirk feature as long as there is not already an item doing so.
