Hakim Kharadh was a poet in River's Rest. He gained a wide following for his performances at the local coffee shops before his mysterious murder in 4292 M.E. An hour-glass that was believed to have belonged to him is on display at the River's Rest Museum.
It is rumored Hakim was discovered to actually be the pirate DeGaspard who was forced into hiding after he insulted the wife of Ketain of the Scars.
Hakim is buried in the River's Rest Graveyard.
