Vaalin is a soft ornamental metal, commonly used in jewelry and lockpicks. It is usually found in caverns where crystalline formations are common and is usually found bearing a spherical shape. The shape and white, lusterous color gives vaalin a simular appearance to a pearl.
Vaalin is slightly transparent, and when light shines through it, it produces a rainbow. Also, the surface of vaalin looks simular to what oil on water looks. Vaalin makes some of the best lockpicks in Elanthia.
