RENEW Type System Profession Bard System Magic

RENEW is used to cause one or more of a Bards Spellsongs to update their renewal period, or to effectively re-cast the spell before the renewal period rolls around. It can allow a bard to strategically renew spellsongs to avoid accidentally stopping them and needing to re-cast them again, such as when entering an anti-magic room.

Usage:
    RENEW {SPELL#|MNEMONIC}     - Renews some spellsongs
    RENEW ALL                   - Renews all spellsongs

Usage

Spell # or Mnemonic

RENEW {SPELL#|MNEMONIC} is used to renew an individual spellsong as needed.

Messaging Example

>renew 1019
You sing with renewed vigor!
The mirror images surrounding you undulate and grow stronger.
Renewing "Song of Mirrors" for 15 mana.
Sing Roundtime 3 Seconds.

All

RENEW ALL is used to renew all active spellsongs at once.

Messaging Example
