===Morphing Armor Unlock===
Do you own a set of Rikelle's fantastic morphing armor? Do you think it's as good as it can get? Well think again! Rikelle has tinkered and found a way to make a new and rare tier to her armor. What more could she make it do, you ask? Let me tell you! Currently, her third tinkering of armor allows you to have up to 6 sides of clothing, right? *Murmurs of agreement* Well how would you like 10!?!?! That's right, you heard it here first folks. *Cheers and applause* But wait! There's more! *Audible gasps* This new tier will allow you to weightlessly carry your armor when it's morphed into shirt form! *Resounding cheers and applause* Come on down to the Festival of the Fallen for your chance to win this rare tier.

A barley audible voice quickly states, "Standard encumbrance restrictions still apply."

===Voln Unlock===
Voln? Who's that? Oh well, I guess I don't need all of his armor lying around. I suppose I'll just have to hand it out somehow... Voln armor unlocking returns to Festival of the Fallen again this year. Distribution will be split with some available to anyone, and others restricted to Voln members only.

===Iasha Weapon Unlock===
Stepping through the door to the smithy's back room, the heat is stifling. Sweat runs in seductive rivulets over the voluptuous elven lass lying in a suggestive position on a bed of furs. Your eyes are drawn away from her ample curves to the white ora weapon lying beside her, heatless flames licking its length. As you stare longingly at the weapon a disembodied voice whispers, "T3, by Iasha."

OOC NOTE: Service will be for EITHER unlocking an existing T2 to T3 and making sure stats are up to snuff (making it 6x if it isn't already) OR should the winner not own an Iasha, one will be created for them at T3 unlock with appropriate statistics.

===Enchanting===
Looking puzzled, the sturdy looking elf asks, "Inch ants? What the hell are inch ants?" "Sounds like something found in the Maernstrike Caverns across the lake," he continues. "No idea why anyone would ever actually pay for them. Nevertheless, we've got them too if you want 'em," he asserts somewhat confidently. Scratching his head he frowns, "Now if I can just figure out how to get them on the weapons."

OOC NOTE: Some restrictions apply. +5 enchant ~ No weapons with crit weighting/padding over heavy (150 pts), no items with combat scripts, no naginata, the cost will vary based upon item's properties. Items will only be allowed to have this service ONCE per festival.

===Sonic Alterations===
Bards be nimble, Bards be quick, Bards come to Vaalor, Bards make sonic weapons sick!

OOC Note: A set number of sonic alterations will be offered at this year's Festival. I hope to see you bards out there!

===Armor Spikes===
The blacksmith turned to face his ancient assistant who was tugging relentlessly at his sleeve. "I've something to show you," the assistant stated. Following his worker into the forge, what greeted the blacksmith was an ingenious contraption. Sadly, it was also the most ungainly, unsightly, unusable piece of armor the blacksmith had ever seen. Standing precariously on a stand before him was a suit of full plate with numerous awl-pikes attached to it, through clever straps and brazed fittings, that jutted out at odd angles while threatening to topple the armor at any moment. Sighing to himself, the blacksmith muttered under his breath, "Why are you so old?" before stating aloud, "SPIKES, I asked you to add SPIKES to the armor."

OOC Note: A limited number of spike adding to armor will be offered at the Festival (method of selection will be determined at a later time).

===Grobey 1slot Fusion Shields===
Reaching into his leather bag, he pulls out a broken cog piece and distractedly taps it on the workbench several times as he stares blankly ahead. With a sudden gleam of inspiration, he tosses the cog back into his pouch and clears a space on the workbench. Pulling a shield to him, he grabs some dimly glowing tools and bends over, carefully manipulating the shield's surface. After several painstaking minutes, a soft glow covers the shield as a perfectly spherical depression forms.

A small elven child, twice the gnome's height, runs in and breaks his concentration.

"Grobey! Stop! Wait!" Screeches the small, yet taller, child with a very distressed look on his face.

"What? Why are you bothering me? Can't you see I'm trying to work? This is tedious!" Grobey's jade green eyes flash with annoyance.

"But this is important! I was told to tell you that you can only do one of those this time. Just the one! If you try to do more than one on a shield," says the child, "your magic tools will asplode!" The child ducks his head and anxiously twists his shirttails.

With a loud sigh, Grobey lays his tools down, reaches for a new shield, and says, "Fine. One it will be, then."

OOC Note: Grobey's coming back and bringing his shields! However, they will only be available with 1 fusion slot. This is the only time these morphing shields will be available this year, so get them while you can!

===Creature Banes===
Something else we will be offering is creature bane! Four winners will receive their choice of +10 AS vs orcs, +10 AS vs giants, or 13% fire flares against trolls. There are, of course, some restrictions: This service cannot be applied to any weapon over +35. This cannot be added to claidhmores, nagintas, or katanas. No other special abilities on a weapon are allowed. There is an additional fee to have this added to your weapon. In addition to these four, we also have a certificate in the mini-game feeders with the same restrictions. The certificate MUST be redeemed by noon on Sunday, September 20th. Details for claiming are on the certificate.

===Ranger Grooming===
We will be offering the chance for one lucky ranger to have their animal companion groomed! The ranger MUST have a companion at the time of the win. This is a delayed service, as it has to go through QC.

Four lucky people will get to have their non-scripted weapon turned into a gory weapon!

===Morphing Armor===
Are you tired of trying to find the right shirt to offset your clunky armor? Or scrambling to change out of that armor and into a nice gown to head to the ball? Wouldn’t you feel safer having that armor with you at all times? Then do we have a product for you.

===Misc Services===
We will be offering a chance at a permablessing (the non-flaring kind) of your weapon. Scripted items and those with existing special abilities are ineligible, however any enchant is allowed.

A portable wine press will be distributed. Make your own bottles of wine!

The winner of the arena competition will be given the post name title of Champion of the Fallen, while the runner up will receive the post name title of Defender of The Fallen.

===Property Auction===
After the ball, we're having a small auction. Twilight Parlor, the private property right outside Ta'Vaalor, will be auctioned along with any unclaimed service certificates. Twilight currently has the only summoning chamber in Prime. As usual, the bidder must have the silvers in their bank account (or on their person) at the time the auction starts. Bidder wins, so no bidding for someone else. No gifting, transferring (not even to an alt), etc.

Enjoy the festival, everyone! See you tomorrow at 2PM ET!

Grand Ball

What would a bloody gore-filled festival be if without scrubbing down and dressing up when it's all over? Ball will be held from 9 pm eastern to 11 pm eastern on Sunday in Prime. (Time for Plat's is still pending)

Coliseum

A coliseum has been built in the festival grounds with four practice arenas and one main arena. In the arenas you can fight against each other. A maximum of two people can be in a specific arena at any one time. No spells over level 10 can be used. The cloak of shadows retribution effect will be disabled as well. No taking familiars, animal companions, demons, etc in with you. You have to fight on your own. If someone is already in an arena when you try to enter, you'll be told who is there. Each arena has a viewing room, so people can watch the fights and yell or heckle. If you die in the arena, medics are on-hand to move you to the infirmary and get you cleaned up; let it be noted that you will not lose deeds if you die. You will also be charged a small fee for being tended to by the medical staff. The only compensation you get for killing each other is bragging rights. Any fighting done in the arenas will be considered consensual.

Combatant Selection

Contestants for the grand tournament will be chosen by citizen only raffles in all cities (Ta'Vaalor, Ta'Illistim, Cysaegir, Zul Logoth, Icemule, Solhaven, River's Rest, Kharam Dzu, Wehnimer's Landing, and Mist Harbor). A total of four contestants from each town will be selected to represent their town in the tournament. If four names are not drawn in a town, a new raffle, that is open to everyone, will be set up in that town to fill the remaining slots. We'll announce when and where these raffles will be set up shortly. The raffles are not restricted by level, so players of any level may participate (tournament will not be bracketed by level so enter at your own risk). The top two combatants will be awarded custom post-name titles.

  • Cysaegir: no entries
  • Icemule Trace: Roblar and Burgoczorn
  • Kharam Dzu: no entries
  • Mist Harbor: no entries
  • River's Rest: no entries
  • Solhaven: no entries
  • Ta'Vaalor: Kakoon and Pereus
  • Wehnimer's Landing: Zalion, Leafiara, and Aureliano
  • Zul Logoth: no entries
  • Other participants: No other city-states, principalities, kingdoms, or islands put forth a Champion. To fill remaining bracket locations, a raffle will be set out within the Festival of the Fallen grounds on opening night and will draw Saturday morning. All entrants chosen at this drawing will not be considered Champions of any such town but merely eager participants of the arena.
