House Brigatta was a great house in the outpost town of Wehnimer's Landing, and a member of the Co-operative Houses of Elanthia, or CHE. It was founded by Lady Taarna, after whom Taarna Road is named.
House Brigatta was one of the oldest established houses in Wehnimer's Landing, located in the center of the town (three blocks due north of the infamous cul-de-sac). It was open to all races and professions, with membership being extended by personal invitations by existing members. Membership ceremonies were often held on the second Monday and second Saturday of each month, in the evening hours.
Many members of House Brigatta spoke of a level of cameraderie similar to an extended family, rather than that of a typical club or organization.
Famous members and former members included the amazon Luky, the enchanters Cerulean and Psionix, and 'house cat' Allequerie. Most infamous of all (amongst House Brigatta members of his time) was the possibly-insane bandana collector Bandanas (in whose memory a bandana-tied maoral broom stood in the house foyer as a memorial to his collecting habits and his unofficial title of 'house janitor').
Lesser known members included Greysleeve, Melisani, Nali, Higher, Riftur, Khitajrah and many others.
