The first, the loss of eastern Highmount to T'Kirem giantmen under the leadership of Yunnag Stormthrower. The second was the annexation of the Kingdom of Torre into the empire as the County of Torre in 4417. In 4424, Jasdurel died and his son, Trynius Burzost, assumed the throne.
