a nodule of shimmering marcasite

Description:   Glittering and brilliant, the nodule bears the resemblance of a sharpened pencil tip that has lost its lead. Striations of bronze, gold, and white iron stretch from the craggy edge towards the tip and glistens when the ambient light plays across their mingled hues.
