Most towns have a stable in them and those that do have a trusty stablehand.

This stablehand can do the following services for you:

1. Assist you in purchasing a stall for your mount.

2. Discuss switching which mount is in your stall.

3. Assist you in purchasing Mount Travel options.

ASK STABLEHAND

When standing in the room with a stablehand, you can ask him many questions. They are detailed below:

ATTEND

"I have always been fascinated with the animal kingdom.  I guess it's why I went into this line of work.  So, I'd be more than happy to take your mount out for a stroll if you would like.  However, I'll need to see your calling device in order to do this."  A young stablehand nods with a smile.

BUY

The stablehand leans in close and whispers, "Unfortunately, a stall purchase requires 50000 raikhen, but you do not appear to have any raikhen at all."

CARE

"We take great pride in the creatures we house in our stables and do everything we can to keep them safe and healthy," the stablehand says proudly.  "We will even take one out for a walk and ATTEND to their every need if you would like."

COST

The stablehand leans in close and whispers, "Unfortunately, a stall purchase requires 50000 raikhen, but you do not appear to have any raikhen at all."

HORSE

After reaching down to brush a clump of dirt from her riding boots, a young stablehand exclaims, "They are incredible creatures, are they not?  I want one of my own, but I'm not financially stable..."  She pauses a moment as if waiting for a response from you, but then continues, "I heard of a horse merchant in Rumor Woods, somewhere up north on the grounds of Summit Academy.  It's the only one one of its kind right now.  These stalls can be purchased if you already own a mount."

She continues, "It is a nice place to keep them comfortable and safe when you send them home for the night."  The stablehand sniffs, wipes her nose with the back of her hand and then returns her attention to brush away dirt and debris from her clothes.  "I can also ATTEND to one and get it out of its stall for a while if you need to spend some time alone."

HUNTING

A young stablehand asks, "Interested in ALL the hunting ground locations or just the LOCAL ones?"

LOCAL

"It's good to be informed before you buy, in any situation.  Here's a detailed list of the available hunting grounds in this immediate area that are included in the FAST TRAVEL-HUNTING ability."  A young stablehand unfurls a rolled-up parchment and dangles it in front of you.

MOUNT

A young stablehand's face lights up like the midday sky in Lumnea.  "Mounts.  There was a time when we were unable to tame these beasts such that we could ride them!  Look how far we have come now.  Horses are probably the least temperamental of all mountable creatures, as they are so willing to let just about anyone climb up onto their back."  She eyes you up and down with slight hesitation, but then continues with a mild shrug.  "I don't have any for sale, unfortunately, but I do have stalls that I can sell to you.  I would bet that just about any mounted creature would be comfortable enough in one of these stalls."

REFUND

"I'm afraid I am unable to offer you any refunds for purchases that you make," the stablehand says quietly.  "This sale would definitely be final."  She nods quite matter-of-factly, but manages to let her kind demeanor slip through her stern professional act.

STABLE

A young stablehand says, "Interested in a stall?  I'll keep it clean for you after your initial purchase of 50000 raikhen.  You and your guests will have 24 hour access.  How fancy is that?  Once you purchase a stall, it will be permanently recorded to your summoning device, so make sure you use the right device if you own multiple mounts."

STALL

SWAP

"Interested in a change, are you?" a young stablehand asks.  "What will it be, exactly?  Would you like to move a new mount into your stall for 625 raikhen?  Or are you interested in changing towns completely for a cost of 1250 raikhen?  Both options are fairly painless, assuming there are stalls available for the latter option.  "  She tilts her head slightly, awaiting your response.

TRAVEL

Without reins in hands:

A young stablehand says, "Surely you own a mount since you're asking about travel options.  Could you hold a summoning device in your hand, please?"

With reins in hands:

"Time is important to you, I see."  A young stablehand nods empathetically and gazes around the stable with a sigh.  "The things I could do if I just had more time.  Anyway, I can make some adjustments to your summoning device depending on which fast travel service you are interested in.  These adjustments will carry forward to all mounts that you own.  Here is a pamphlet that describes each of the services for you in a bit of detail."
