You WAVE the Aldoran healing stone at the target who needs the healing or detoxification, etc. If I recall correctly, this requires a bit of Magic Item Use, or seems to. Also, as far as I know, you can only wave these at a target other than yourself. I have never been successful at waving one at myself, although, that could just require more MIU than I have, who knows? I'm curious if anyone has gotten the stones to work on themselves.
