:Yes. The spelling is Hoard for those creatures, even though Horde would make more sense in context. In the 1999 copy of "Creatures & Monsters" the Hoard are page 110. In "Creatures & Treasures II" from 1989 it is page 33-34. I intend on significantly re-writing this page to condense it and make the literature parallels or allusions cleaner, since it is more clear to me now that the landscape corresponds specifically to the Underworld parts of the Dreamlands (where I assume the idea is playing off "Charon" being the name of the boatman across the river Acheron in Hades/Inferno.) If the mana draining puzzle is not broken at the moment I assume it involves spells my character does not have or else syntax I've never guessed.
